Security Services

All print, copy and scan operations are assured of scalable and multi-tiered protection beyond the usual network security provisions by a variety of security features present in the ApeosPort-IV 5070 multifunction device.  These include:

Document Flow Services

Document Flow Services converts hard copy into digital format for distribution via printouts, FTP, SMB, and Email. It also enables data in hard copy to be linked to electronic data in enterprise data applications.
Whatever the needs of your office, Document Flow Service can be customised to meet them. It can even program complex and time-consuming document processing procedures into simple one-touch operations called "Job Flows".

Management Services

A complete set of management tools are provided to make device administration easy. These tools allow you to restrict usage by device and function, track and log transactions, manage users, groups and multifunction devices within network. These tools include:

• Xerox Standard Accounting allows you to restrict access to ApeosPort-IV 5070 operations on a per user basis. Users can be given full access to print, copy, scan and fax functions or restricted to only certain functions. You can obtain device usage data and output it to a CSV file for use in accounting and spreadsheet applications. 
• CentreWare Internet Services allows administrators to connect, configure, obtain status of, and troubleshoot the ApeosPort-IV 5070 multifunction devices on an intranet. 

Customised Services

The Apeos development platform provides a suite of SDKs which enables everything in a business to seamlessly integrate with the ApeosPort-IV 5070 devices using open architecture XML and SOAP technologies. This allows scanned documents and customised metadata to be captured directly by a business application for additional processing.

Port-IV 5070 can be configured to have an application displayed on the user interface in order to transfer scanned documents directly to ERP applications.

Mobile Services

This service allows secure access to the ApeosPort-IV 5070 multifunction devices from anywhere within the intranet or over the Internet.  Laptop users and users who frequently travel or work in different offices can connect to any ApeosPort-IV 5070 devices in the network. Users may upload and download documents, print, fax, and use any document distribution functions like FTP and Email.

Scan to Folder

Feature allows you to scan to a folder on the printer’s hard drive to reprint on demand or retrieve via a web browser. Documents stored on the hard drive are displayed as thumbnails and up-close previews on the device touch screen.
