Established in 1964 and known formerly as Rank Xerox (Hong Kong) Ltd, Fuji Xerox Hong Kong became part of Fuji Xerox Co. Ltd. in December 2000. It now has more than 800 employees. The company provides document consultancy services and solutions to customers in every industry, through a full range of knowledge and document management products from content management, workflow and print management software, enterprise digital printing and publishing systems, to multifunctional document devices and office supplies.

In the 2003 Hong Kong Quality Circle Awards, organised by the Hong Kong Quality Management Association, Fuji Xerox Hong Kong won the Gold Award for the Service Sector category. In 2009, Fuji Xerox Hong Kong has again proven it is second to none when it comes to business excellence by winning the coveted Productivity and Quality Grand Award at the Hong Kong Awards for Industries (HKAI) 2009 competition. Caring about the environment
To maintain a continuous focus on environmental conservation, Fuji Xerox’s thirteen operations in twelve Asia-Pacific countries, including Hong Kong, have acquired ISO 14001 Certification for environmental management standards by end 2003.
And, as a result there have been some remarkable successes. For example, Fuji Xerox won the METI Minister’s Award in the 20th Energy Conservation Grand Prize for 2009 in Japan with Fuji Xerox’s eight models of digital color multifunction device products. Fuji Xerox is the first company in the industry to receive this award for 11 consecutive years since 1999.
In 2004, targeting “zero-landfill” as part of the company’s used product recycling policy, Fuji Xerox created an integrated recycling system to ensure all used office equipment, including copiers, printers, and supplies such as toner cartridges, is collected from our Hong Kong customers. Returned devices and parts will be initially disassembled and categorized locally before shipping to Fuji Xerox’s recycling factory in Thailand, where collected items will be further classified into more than 88 different categories for recycling.
In Hong Kong, we won the Environmental Performance Award at the 2008 Hong Kong Awards for Industries, an honour which recognises the company’s longstanding dedication to the pursuit and implementation of effective green strategies, which is reflected throughout the company’s operations and in their customer offerings.
Paper supply is also a focus area and Fuji Xerox has long been concerned about the issue of deforestation and the impact on indigenous peoples. In 2006, the company surveyed and confirmed all of its suppliers in Japan and Asia Pacific were complying with the Environmental Health and Safety Requirements for Paper Procurement” which it established in 2004. Locally, Fuji Xerox Hong Kong has obtained the certification with Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody (FSC CoC) since 2007 for its compliance throughout the paper supply operation. “Explorer” and “X’tra” certified in “Hong Kong Green Label” by Green Council in 2010.
Fuji Xerox Hong Kong has a strong commitment to the protection of the environment and to the health and safety of its employees, customers, and neighbors. Fuji Xerox provides safe and environmental-friendly products and helps reducing waste by regularly collecting consumables such as used toner cartridges from customers for recycle purpose.
