This industry-first single-pass, six-color print engine unveils new digital printing definition, and sets for a new standard to market.

Incorporated the theme of Kaleidoscopes, today’s product launch activity introduced Iridesse™ as a platform of metallic color creation innovator, by applying gold and silver dry ink simultaneously in the printing process. Two on-site body painting models performed a meticulous hierarchy of color as Kaleidoscopes do, which brought our guest immersed in a colorful, and extraordinary world of metallic.

 

Gold, silver, clear and white in one go. Iridesse™ brings new seamless six-color standard

Iridesse™ Production Press brings brand new printing experience. The industry first xerographic six-color printing process comes with around 1,000 items of patented technologies. The first-ever development of dry metallic lnk, which allows customers to choose two prioritized special colors (from gold, silver, clear and while*3) within one CMYK printing process. By a simple one-click, rich color printing effect is just a step away. The Production Press engine supports Pantone Metallic and metallic color which solely provided by FujiXerox, and provides simultaneous metallic colors output in a single printing process. Standard color library equipped in Iridesse™ contains Pantone+Metallic and Pantone+Premium Metallic, the operator can reproduce colors similar to Pantone metallic colors on printing materials by simply designating the color codes.

The debut of dry white ink enables higher toner coverage on paper and provides base-layer for CMYK dry link overlap and stamping, which is an industry breakthrough. Clear color technology enhances special colors’ overlap, empowers simple output process of foil stamping and metallic. This is a significate step to simplify finishing, as well as time-saving. Customer also beneficiate from lower production cost in gold, silver and metallic color output.

The new nanotechnology enabled Iridesse™ HD dry ink is one of the world’s smallest particle size toners, that provides a crisply-detailed color base, and metallic reflection effect. The new professional dry color ink printing system realizes even transferring of six-layer of dry inks. Fine/smooth images are realized with 2,400 dpi (dots per inch) fine resolution. Iridesse™ Production Press has a high productivity of printing on 400 gsm (grams per square meter) thick paper at a high speed of 120 pages per minute, in which set a good position to meet the increasing printing demand.

Iridesse™ extends special printing material support, which enables rich color effect on flute corrugated paper, transparency, fancy paper, label sticker and deep-color paper. Also, Finisher D6 with Booklet Maker, Crease/Two-sided Trimmer D2, and SquareFold Trimmer D1 can be connected to Iridesse™ Production Press to automatically produce professional booklets and folded leaflets. These finishing options expand the possible printing applications by enabling to produce complex folded leaflets including accordion-fold and gate-fold. From double-sided poster, booklet, package, business printing, label, photo album and greeting card, the new system provides excellent production quality.
